It is known that calystegines, a group of compounds of nortropane alkaloids, have the unique ability of competitive inhibition of glucosidases activity. The objective of this study was to identify calystegines in the chemical composition of plants growing on the islands of Solovetsky Archipelago and belonging to the family Ericaceae. In the course of the research it was found that calystegine B2 presents in all samples tested and is dominant.
